What is Softwashing?
Softwashing is a method used to clean areas that are covered in moss, algae, lichen or other biofilms. As this method does not use high pressure spraying, softwash cleaning solutions are used to clean the dirt and grime from the hard surfaces.
Why is Softwashing More Beneficial than Pressure Washing?
Using the softwashing technique is far more beneficial to use than ordinary pressure washing when cleaning surfaces that are more sensitive and would likely be damaged from a high pressure spray such as roof tiles. Furthermore, softwash cleaning solutions such as AlgoClear Pro work in a way that they only remove the grime and biofilms from the surface and do not strip protective coatings from the area that you are treating. Another point that makes softwashing a very popular choice is that when biocides are applied to porous areas, they provide long lasting effects meaning that you will not have to clean that area again as soon as you would have to, had you just used a pressure sprayer.
